Camille Thompson is a most talented dancer, instructor, performer, and choreographer. Born in Dallas, Texas, Camille’s love for dance began at the young age of 5 years old. Professionally, she has been dancing and performing for over 12 years. Camille's style hip hop can range from energetic power moves to groovy to stylized and challenging, encouraging each dancer to use their body to their highest potential. Her skills include cheer, jazz, salsa, modern, and most importantly, hip hop. You may have seen Camille on the 2005-2006 Dallas Mavericks dance team or the 2006 Dallas Desperados dance team. Camille also returned for a second time to the Dallas Mavericks Dancers in 2010-2011. Camille has choreographed and danced for such celebrities as Dorrough, Tyrese, and Ethiopian sensation Abby Lakew as well as a number of up and coming musical artists. Camille has had several television and music video appearances such as BET’s 106 & Park, and Dance Club 21. She has also appeared as lead in Lyfe Jennings Hit Single “Never Never Land” music video as well as Dorrough “Walk that walk” and “Ice Cream Paint Job” music videos. She has appeared and danced in many other videos with artists such as Bun B, Paul Wall, Bertell, Shawty Low, and Mayback Music artist Suede Royale. Camille has been a dance instructor since the age of 17. Since then she has won several awards for her choreography. For years Camille has taught adults and children of all ages, giving them the confidence they need to “cut a rug” at any given time.
